Commercial display

LG webOS digital signage with LOOP.

LOOP is LG webOS digital signage software that runs natively on LG commercial displays and webOS Signage TVs. Point the display to the LOOP server in its settings, let the app install itself, then manage content, schedules and the display from one cloud dashboard. No extra media player.

First screen free. No credit card required.

Why use LOOP for LG webOS signage

No extra media player

LOOP runs on the LG display itself. No stick, box or cables behind the screen.

Full remote control

Turn the screen on and off, restart the display, change the volume and take screenshots from the LOOP dashboard.

Remote app updates

The app installs and updates from the LOOP server, so you never walk to the screen with a USB stick.

One dashboard for every screen

Manage LG displays next to your Samsung, Android and Amazon Signage screens with the same playlists and schedules.

Supported LG webOS displays

LG commercial displays

LG signage displays running webOS Signage, set up from Ez-settings and the SI Server Setting. The LOOP app installs from our server, so you don't need a USB stick or an app store.

LG webOS Signage TVs

LG TVs built for business use with webOS Signage. Consumer LG smart TVs do not have the SI Server Setting, so they can't run LOOP this way.

Not sure your display qualifies? Open Settings, then Ez-settings. If you see SI Server Setting, LOOP can be installed on it.

How to set up LOOP on an LG webOS display

1

Turn on the display and complete the LG tutorial: time zone, time, date, location and internet connection. Don't skip it.

2

Go to Settings, then Ez-settings, then SI Server Setting.

3

Turn Fully qualified domain ON and enter https://w.loop.gs. Set Application Launch mode to Local, Local Application Upgrade to Remote, Application type to IPK and Auto set to OFF.

4

Choose Local Application Upgrade, then Remote. The app downloads and installs. Restart the display (power off, then on) and enter the registration code shown on screen in your LOOP account.

Keep Auto set OFF. If Auto set is on, LOOP can't update the app remotely. And don't skip the LG tutorial: without the right time zone, time, date and network, schedules and playback don't work correctly.

FAQ

LG webOS digital signage FAQ

What is LG webOS digital signage?

LG webOS digital signage is LG digital signage built on an LG commercial display or webOS Signage TV. With LOOP, the display plays images, videos, web pages and apps on a schedule and is managed from one cloud dashboard, with no separate media player. See how LOOP works.

Do I need a media player for an LG signage display?

No. The LOOP app installs on the LG display itself from the LOOP server. You only need the display, a network connection and a LOOP account. See the setup steps.

Which LG displays work with LOOP?

LG commercial displays and webOS Signage TVs that have the SI Server Setting in Ez-settings. Consumer LG smart TVs do not have this setting. See supported LG displays.

Why must Auto set stay off in the SI Server Setting?

With Auto set on, the display ignores remote app updates, so LOOP can no longer update the app for you. Keep it off and the app stays current on its own. See the server settings.

Why do I need to finish the LG tutorial first?

The tutorial sets the time zone, time, date, location and internet connection. LOOP schedules and playback depend on them, so skipping it can make the display behave incorrectly. See the setup steps.

What other players does LOOP support?

LOOP also runs on the Amazon Signage Stick and Display, Android, Samsung Tizen, Raspberry Pi, TCL, Fire TV, and Windows PCs or any browser through the LOOP Web Player. See all digital signage players.
